My expertise on credit cards rewards has allowed me to help others travel, both domestically and internationally, for "free" or at minimal costs. I've helped clients redeem, at minimum, $750 worth of travel within 3-6 months of working with me.

ABOUT JOSHua

Joshua is the Common SenseTravel Guy, an expert in credit card rewards and travel. As a globe trotter from an early age through his father's missionary work, Joshua was inspired to find a way to continue traveling as an adult, for less. After finding ways to do so, and helping some friends along the way, Joshua was encouraged by one of those friends to start commonsensetravelguy.com. Joshua has been able to go on amazing trips for less, and sometimes for free, by using the 1,000,000+ points and miles he has accrued over time. As more people have learned about his expertise and the help he has provided others, his side business has grown into a dream job.

Joshua also captures his stories from his adventures and of the people he has helped on his blogtwitter, and Instagram. Follow him @cstravelguy

Travel doesn’t become an adventure until you leave yourself behind.

What joshua has achieved

  • Wherever he flies, his wife flies for free (except for taxes and fees)! How you might ask? By having obtained a Southwest Companion Pass for the past 3 years.

  • For just under $1500, spent a month traveling with his wife in Asia - staying in 4-5 star hotels, flying business class, with all food and ground transportation included - which would have cost approximately $42K had he not had the points/airline miles to do so.

  • In the past 4 years:

    • He has accrued over 1,000,000 combined airline, hotel, and rewards miles and points.

    • He has traveled internationally for less to England, France, Ireland, Italy, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Puerto Rico, Thailand, Jamaica, and Mexico.

    • He has traveled domestically for less to San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Monterey, Buffalo, Cape Cod, Orlando, and Atlanta.
